Sushi for the win

Thank God my roommate likes sushi now. This week is restaurant week in MN and the first spot we hit up was Yumi the Edina location. Right away I enjoyed the location of the restaurant because it was right on the edge of the Southdale mall and there was no need to walk through the mall to get there. The interior has a business casual feel to it and has a clean and relaxed vibe.

The service was amazing, we were greeted by the host and they seated us right away. Our server was attentive and did her very best to accommodate us and our requests. If we had questions about the menu or nutritional facts our server tried her best to get us the information we needed was was nice about it. Some of the items we ordered off the pre-set menu were the seaweed salad, gyoza, titanic roll, teriyaki steak, and the restaurant week specialty roll. All of the food was delicious and tasted fresh. The Titanic roll was filling and had a nice spice to it as it had spicy mayo and spicy tuna. The Terriyaki New York strip was prepared medium rare and tasted juicy and flavorful packed with umami flavor. I will definitely return here, check it out!
